Training began recently for the 2,000 student volunteers for the upcoming BRICS Summit.Volunteers hail from 10 colleges and universities, including Huaqiao University, Jimei University and Xiamen University.

Training sessions include seminars, lectures and role-playing led by experts such as Yu Minhong, the CEO of the New Oriental education technology group, and XiamenAir etiquette instructors.

Training will continue throughout July and August. The sessions cover a wide range oftopics such as security procedures, language training and knowledge of Xiamen'scultural attractions.
