A press conference for the “2017 China Variety Show Summit and China Variety Carnival” was held inBeijing on July 16th, announcing  that the event will be held in Jimei District of Xiamen in October this year.

The summit will be hosted by Chinese Television Artists Association(CTAA), co-hosted by Jimei Culture Office, and organized  by Chinese Television Art Committee of the CTAA.

At the conference,several “big names” of the variety show field, including Mou Di, the general producer of “Let’s Talk”, Cen Junyi, the chief director of  “Running Man”and other celebrities,  made discussions about  “the  respect for every profession”.

Focusing on forums and program selection, the summit will expect the participation of the top scholars, production teams and superior talents.

It’s said that Jimei government is planning to create the first TV variety show copyright-trading platform and an industry platform for variety show derivatives .

Local officials  said that the China Variety Show Summit will help develop Jimei’s potential in film industry,integrate  the industry resources, and bring vitality to the  culture industry.
