Under the stimulation of XIAMEN BRICS SUMMIT, Xiamen Convention Industry kept achieving remarkable fruits with 362 above-scale conferences held in 2017. Since the Post-BRICS effect has been fermenting, above-scale conferences grow rapidly.There were 41 above-scale conferences that received municipal rewards in January, upby 127.8% .The total number of participants was 33,049, increased by 30.58% than last year, which reached a new record.

The coupling effects between municipal government and districts’government have marked improvement. In January, 35 above-scale conferences were held in SimingDistrict, up by 66.67% than last year; the total number of participants was21,660, increased by 175.57%. 21 above-scale conferences were held in Jimei District, up by 162.5% than last year, the total number of participants was11,039, increased by 530.8%.
