A Xiamen specialty agricultural products exhibition was held in the C3 and C4 halls of Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center last Friday. 

The four-day event is a gathering of famous and special agricultural products from Xiamen and Nanping.It is not only a free exhibition for farmers, it is also free for citizens to visit.

The exhibition this year is sponsored by local governments and is targeted at farmers. The exhibition has two main goals: a "farmers business exhibition" and, "citizen sopport unities to buy".

Specialized farmers’cooperatives have always been the main exhibitors at the agricultural exhibition. During this year’s fair, 77 local farmer cooperatives will bring avariety of their natural products and various processed products such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery and flowers, for the visitors to enjoy. 83 booth will showcase the fine crops from Tong’an. These will include, freshly picked fruit, corn and roasted lettuce from Sanxiu Mountain,betel nuts from Baomei Village of Tingxi Town, and hand-made rice noodles made from local high-quality rice from farmers in the village of Zhenei in LianhuaTown.
