The 14th Strait Travel Fair was held at the Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center from April 20th to 22nd alongside the contemporaneous China (Xiamen) International Leisure Tourism Expo. The fair attracted a total of 215,000 visitors with a year-on-year increase of 34.4%, and generated over 220 million yuan in trade volume. Forty-three countries and regions took part in this year’s edition, exhibiting over 20,000 tourism-related products and services.

The main feature of the fair was a special sales area set up especially for the top-selling products, which attracted the participation of over 100 travel agencies and OTAs (online travel agency), 200 souvenir shops and 14 international airline companies. The trade volume of this area only exceeded 71 million yuan during the event, a staggering year-on-year increase of 222.7%.

Apart from top-selling products, a wide range of tourism products were also on display including hot-spring tours, wood cabins, shared vehicles, VR experiences, robot interactions and many others.
