The annual National Four Treasures of Study Art Expo and the Strait Calligraphy and Painting Industry Expo will kick off on October 24 at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. More than 200 businesses are scheduled to participate in the four-day event, which covers an exhibition area of 12,000 square meters.

The Four Treasures of Study refer to China's traditional stationery tools: writing brushes, ink sticks, paper and ink stones.

Event sponsors include the Association of China Four Treasures of Study, the China Four Treasures of Study magazine, the Xiamen Cultural Reform and Development Leading Group Office, and the Xiamen Culture and Tourism Bureau. Xiamen Daily organized the event.
