A grand opening ceremony for the 16th China (Xiamen) International Food Trading Expo was held at the C3 Hall of Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center (XICEC) on October 18th and will run through October 20th.

Covering a total exhibit area of 20,000 square meters, the expo consists of four theme pavilions, namely, a comprehensive food pavilion, a food ingredient pavilion, an agricultural product pavilion and an industrial supporting area, displaying a wide range of products including snacks, tea, wine, raw food materials, organic food, and industry-related supporting equipments.

Local agricultural products and by-products such as grain, oil, fruit, vegetable, tea, livestock, and seafood from Fujian, Shandong, Shanxi, Guangxi, Ningxia, Jiangsu, Choangqing, Guangdong, Liaoning, Hunan, Zhejiang, and Shanghai will also be available during the exposition.

It is worth mentioning that the Malaysia delegation has brought authentic Southeast Asian flavors to the local, with exotic products such as bird's nest, white coffee, Bak Kut Teh, chicken biscuits, durian, pepper, and dried fruits.

Additionally, a series of match-making and promotional events will be held as well.
