The 12th China (Xiamen) International Recreational Fishery and Aquarium Expo is set to take place at Xiamen Fliport Convention and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, East China’s Fujian province from November 1 to 3,2019.

Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, this year’s expo will offer 500 standard booths for 300 exhibitors and is expected to attract up to 30,000 visitors.

The exhibition area will be divided into five sections,showcasing aquarium,sport fishing, marine entertainment, fishery culture, and recreational fishing village.

For aquarium lovers,the eagerly anticipated part would be the aquarium exhibition area where they can see rare and expensive aquarium fish species,freshwater and saltwater,buy aquarium supplies, and participate in various experience activities such as making a DIY miniature aquarium.

Since its initiation in 2008, the event has served as an exchange platform for enterprises in the marine fishery industry and has provided visitors with one-stop services. 

Besides the exhibition, three competitions will be held during the three-day event, including a Koi show, an aquascaping contest, and a guppy championship.

The expo is sponsored by China Recreational Angling Association, Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, and the Xiamen Municipal Government and organized by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Ocean Development.
