About Hotel:
Established in 1999 as a fully foreign owned enterprise, Riyuegu Hotsprings Resort is situated in Haicang District, Xiamen. After an initial investment of 300 million RMB for its first phase, The Resort started its operations in November 2003 and is China's first property with both a National AAAA Accredited Tourist Attraction (Riyuegu Hotsprings Park) and a Five Star Hotel. Riyuegu Hotsprings Park offers the finest facilities in a serene environment and contains a rare natural occurring carbonated hotsprings source. Over in Riyuegu Hotsprings Hotel, all 115 beautifully decorated guest rooms and suites, dining, meeting, spa and other recreational facilities exude privacy and luxury.
In its 12 years of operation, The Resort has hosted more than 5 million visitors and has for several years ranked amongst the leading contributors to Fujian's province's tax revenue from the tourism industry. It also prides itself on its efforts and accomplishments in providing safe, cultured, energy efficient and honest tourism. Riding on its contributions, the surrounding area has grown rapidly and The Resort has become one of Xiamen's "name cards”.
Riyuegu Hotsprings Resort continually undergoes upgrades to not only improve on its current facilities but to accomplish breakthroughs in the products and services it provides. This can be seen in the many "firsts" that it has achieved over the years. Besides being China's first property with both a National AAAA Accredited Tourist Attraction and a Five Star Hotel, it is also the first hotsprings company to be awarded “China Famous Trade Mark ". In addition, Riyuegu Hotprings Park is the first outdoor-garden type Hotsprings Park in the Fujian province and also houses the first outdoor sauna rooms and heated swimming pool in a hotsprings company. When participating in Xiamen's CIFIT exhibitions, it was the first to showcase a hotsprings pool and use models onsite. These "firsts" have created a strong foundation for Riyuegu Hotsprings Resort's brand and market presence.
To continue improving on its product, The Resort's second phase is currently ongoing and is estimated to require another 700 million RMB in investment. This is to build an indoor hotsprings complex, motel, international convention centre, hotsprings museum and additional 300 hotel rooms. The government has shown its support by marking The Resort's second phase as a Priority Project of the city.
Riyuegu Hotsprings Resort is the Chairman unit of the Tourism Association Hotsprings Branch of Fujian Province and a vice chairman unit of Tourism Association Hotsprings Branch of China.
